Intensive care unit is a highly specialized 13 bedded unit dedicated to the needs of patients requiring intensive monitoring and patient care services involving medical and surgical care.

The ICU is staffed 24 hrs a days by highly qualified doctors and nurses. An interdisciplinary team of specialized nurses, resident doctors and other technical staff works in collaboration with the physicians. The doctors conduct daily patient care rounds with the team to devolp an individualized plan of care for each patient.

The ICU features state of art medical equipment including a computerized monitoring system and a computerized medication administration record to ensure patient care and patient safety other facilities include portable X ray machine.

Every bed in the ICU is clearly visible from the nursing station. To improve patient morale and well being the unit has an open and bright appearance and the private patient room feature large exterior windows overlooking the surrounding neighbourhood.
